HOW IT BEGINS
This is a story of how our company was established, and our journey towards our goals. Hakikat Arwana Sukses (HAS) company was founded on 10 October 2019. We started its operation of arwana captivity in Putusibau, West Kalimantan, and we have a chance to further expand its activity into Liberica coffee farming ranging over 10,000 acres in West Kalimantan.
  • ZERO BURNING
    As all of us know that there are a lot of companies that clear land using slash-and-burn method to expedite the process and cut costs. Zero burning is accomplished through field survey to determine the most effective method to clean the land and mark the area by setting blocks. From here, we will then create a work plan to clean the area manually without burning. These methods will help to preserve the ecosystem.
  • Agroforestry method
    Agroforestry involves a wide range of trees that are protected, regenerated, planted or managed in agricultural landscapes as they interact with annual crops, livestock, wildlife and humans. Trees have many functions, including but not limited to preventing erosion and water evaporation, and providing shades.
  • Minimum tree slashing
    As mentioned previously, along with a zero burning method that does not harm the environment, we also do not do complete tree slashing. Instead, we slash several trees effectively to be replaced with coffee plants and other protective trees. Other methods are still in development as we are always looking for a new and better method.
